I just love this book. However, i definitely consider it one, and i think it is one that stands quite well on its' own. Quarter square triangles are so named because four right angled triangles are cut from a single square. I always design my quilt patterns so the half square triangles come out bigger than needed so you can trim them down to exactly the correct size.
